Civil Process Division

 

Goal

This Division’s goal is to ensure proper docketing of all civil process according to the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure.

Responsibilities

The Civil Process Division is responsible for service and enforcement of Court Orders, Writs of Summons, Complaints, Subpoenas and Injunctions in a timely and effective manner according to the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure.

Fees for Service

Writ of Execution/ Real Estate & Mortgage Foreclosure: $3,000.00 Deposit

Writ of Execution/ Personal Property & Garnishment: $200.00 Deposit

Complaint, Summons, Ejectment, Order, Writ of Possession, Notice of Intent to Attach Wages: $100.00 Deposit (add $25.00 per defendant for three or more)

  2. Writ for Each Defendant/Occupant
  3. P.R.C.P Rule Notice of Sale 3129.2 for Sheriff
  4. P.R.C.P Rule Notice of Sale 3129.2 for Each Defendant
  5. P.R.C.P Rule Affidavit 3129.1 for Sheriff
  6. Electronic Version of Legal Description Emailed to sherifflegalinfo@lyco.org
  7. Short or Long Legal Description for each Defendant/occupant
  8. Cover Letter with Instructions for Service

Writ of Execution/ Personal Property & Garnishment

  1. Deposit of $200.00 
  2. Writ for Each Defendant
  3. Writ for Each Garnishee
  4. Interrogatories for Each Defendant & Garnishee
  5. Claim for Exemption Form
  6. Cover Letter with Instructions for Service

Complaint, Summons, Ejectment, Order, Writ of Possession, Notice of Intent to Attach Wages

  1. Deposit of $100.00 (add $25.00 per defendant for three or more)
  2. One of the Above Listed Documents for Each Defendant
  3. Cover Letter with Instructions for Service

You are to forward the deposit fees and documents to our office for processing. No service form is required a cover letter is sufficient.
