Industrial Development Authority

The Lycoming County Industrial Development Authority (the Authority) is an industrial development authority that was incorporated on December 14, 1967, in compliance with the requirements of the Industrial Development Authority Law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Act 102 of August 23, 1967, Public Law 251, as amended.  On October 27, 1999, an amendment of the Articles of Incorporation was adopted by resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, to extend the term of existence of the Authority from December 31, 2017 to December 31, 2035.

The County established the Authority for purposes of financing a variety of public and private projects in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.  As such, the Authority is authorized to enter into agreements for the purchase, construction and financing of industrial, commercial and specialized development projects.
