DOG WARDENS ARE CANVASSING LYCOMING COUNTY FOR DOG LICENSE COMPLIANCE
Dog licenses are available at the treasurer's office at 33 West Third Street, or online at www.lyco.org by clicking on the "Top 10 Links" on the left, then "Buy a Dog License". Applications can be printed from the website and mailed with payment to 48 West Third Street or taken to the SPCA. State law requires that all dogs three months and older to be licensed by January 1st of each year. The maximum fine per violation of the licensing requirement is $300.00. Yearly licensing fee is $8.50 or $6.50 for each spayed or neutered dog. Senior citizens and persons with disabilities may purchase a license for $6.50 or $4.50 for each spayed and neutered dog.
Attention PA Anglers
Save Our Susquehanna (S.O.S) fishing license buttons can be purchased online through the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) Outdoor Shop and at all of the issuing agents located throughout Pennsylvania, including the Lycoming County Treasurers Office.
The PFBC released the SOS Button to raise funds to help the Susquehanna River and small mouth bass fishery. Profits contribute to funding projects to reduce known sources of pollution in critical areas where diseased bass have been found in the Susquehanna River.
The cost is $10.00 to anglers who possess a valid Pennsylvania fishing license that enables them to fish for the entire year.

ATTENTION PA HUNTERS
Hunting licenses for the2015-2016 hunting season went on sale Monday June 8th. The issuing of the antlerless deer license will begin on Monday, July 13th. Antlerless deer license applications must be mailed directly to the county treasurer's office, not the PGC. They must be in a pink official antlerless deer license envelope. Hunters are encouraged not to mail their applications before late afternoon on Friday, July 10th. Any applications received prior to July 13th will be returned.

The Lycoming County Treasurer’s Office serves as the repository for all monies remitted from the various county departments, with all funds kept separate and fully accounted for on a department by department basis. The Treasurer’s Office is also responsible for issuing Dog Licenses, Hunting, Sportsman Permits and Fishing Licenses as well as Small Games of Chance and Bingo Licenses. The Treasurer’s Office is also in charge of collecting the hotel tax in Lycoming County. The Hotel taxes are intended to benefit the Lycoming County Visitor’s Bureau and to promote the tourism industry in Lycoming County.

The yearly licensing fee is $8.50 or $6.50 for each spayed or neutered dog. Senior Citizens and persons with disabilities may purchase a license for $6.50 or $4.50 for each spayed and neutered dog.
According to officials with the Dept. of Agriculture's Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement, ensuring dogs are licensed and up-to-date with vaccinations is the surest way to keep pets safe and healthy.
ATTENTION SMALL GAMES OF CHANCE LICENSE HOLDERS
Act 92 of November 27, 2013, amends The Local Options Small Games of Chance Law effective January 27, 2014. The Small Games of Chance Application was revised January 2014, to reflect Act 92 amendments.
An officer of your organization should download a copy of Act 92 to be kept with the organization’s permanent records. You can access a copy of Act 92 by double clicking on Local Small Games of Chance Act 92 located in the box on the left side of this page.
