The PA Dept of Health, Bureau of EMS has released the final draft rules and regulations for the new EMS Act (Act 37 of 2009). This document has been submitted by the Bureau for pre-publication review and it anticipates the formal regulatory review process to be completed by the end of 2011.
The final draft is available for viewing and/or download through the PEHSC website homepage at www.pehsc.org
There are 16 Regional EMS Councils in the Commonwealth that administer the EMS Program for the Department of Health as promulgated by Pennsylvania's Act 37 which was signed into law on August 18, 2009 (Replacing Act 45 of 1984). The rules and regulations to promulgate this new act are scheduled here:

The Lycoming County Commissioners are the Department of Health contract holders for the Regional EMS Council of Lycoming, Tioga, and Sullivan Counties. The Department of Emergency Services, as agents of the Department of Health provide the following services to providers and services within the three county region.
