UPDATE ON JANUARY 25 & 26, 2010
FLOODING EVENT IN LYCOMING COUNTY
The Bureau of Recovery and Mitigation (BORM) has determined that a Governor’s request for a Presidential Declaration of Major Disaster is not possible for the January 25, 2010 rain event due to a $6.75 million shortfall in the required state per capita threshold of damages.
Twelve counties reported damages totaling $9,090,924 against a required state threshold of $15,842,560
The twelve reporting counties were: Adams, Bradford, Cameron, Columbia, Dauphin, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Union and Wyoming.
