Manual Staff Gauge Details

Description: Staff gauges have been painted or placed on or near bridges throughout the five watersheds. These gauges are manually read by emergency volunteers and provide a valuable compliment to the data received from the automatic flood warning system gauges. Some of these staff gauges are at the same locations as the County’s automatic stream gauges and thus provide a valuable back up capability. Also included on this page is a table for the Montgomery manual gauge system--information posted to this table is provided by the Montgomery Emergency Coordinator.
