The Purchasing Agent purchases all commodities used by County departments, administers and enforces the procurement policy, prepares all documents for public bids and proposals, prepares and/or assists in the preparation of all contracts, generates procurement reports, and maintains the inventory of fixed assets.  The objective is to procure the best services and commodities at the best price in an open and competitive environment.
