2017 Dog Licenses

Dog licenses can be purchased at the treasurer’s office at 33West Third Street., Williamsport, or online at by clicking on the “Top 10 Links” on the left, then “Buy a Dog License.” Applications can be printed from the website and mailed with payment to 48 W. Third St., Williamsport.
State Law requires that all dogs three months and older be licensed by January 1st of each year.
The yearly licensing fee is $8.50 or $6.50 for each spayed or neutered dog. Senior Citizens and persons with disabilities may purchase a license for $6.50 or $4.50 for each spayed and neutered dog.

Flood Ready Flood Warning Website

The FloodReady Website is a network of stream gauges across Lycoming County which helps residents track the water levels in our creeks and river, current rain fall information, and history of flooding at various gauges.  This site gives near real time readings and helps residents prepare in the event of flooding.

Drought Watch Issued by PA DEP for Lycoming County

The PA DEP issued a DROUGHT WATCH for 34 Counties in PA yesterday to include Lycoming County

A DROUGHT WATCH is the least severe of the three drought declarations ( Watch, Warning, Emergency).  A DROUGHT WATCH calls for a voluntary 5 percent reduction in non-essential water use.
