The Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement will canvass Lycoming County as part of its efforts to ensure dogs are licensed, vaccinated, and safe.  Dog licenses are available through Lycoming County Treasurer, Connie L. Rupert.  They can be purchased one of the following ways:

• In person at the Treasurer’s Office located in the Executive Plaza, 330 Pine Street, Suite #100,  Williamsport, PA  17701
• Online at www.lyco.org  under Elected Officials; or click here to apply & submit application online.
• By mailing an application and payment to:
  Lycoming County Treasurer
  48 West Third Street
  Williamsport, PA  17701
• By visiting the Lycoming County SPCA on Reach Road; or Animal Specialties in the Basin Street Shopping Center.  

 The yearly licensing fee is $6.45 for each spayed or neutered dog, or $8.45 for other dogs.  Senior Citizens and persons with disabilities may purchase a license for $4.45 for spayed and neutered dogs, or $6.45 for other dogs. 
 
According to officials with the Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement, ensuring dogs are license and up-to-date with vaccinations is the surest way to keep pets safe and healthy.
