Lycoming County Juvenile Probation Officers incorporate three distinct purposes in fulfilling court-ordered dispositions.

They include community protection, accountability/victim restoration and building youth's competencies.

These principles are designed to enable youth and the community to be more improved leaving the system than when they entered.

The overall goal is the reduction of juvenile crime County-wide and lower recidivism rates among Officer caseloads.
